About Us​

Lee Langston – Owner/Inspector

Lee is a North Carolina licensed Home Inspector (3837) and General Contractor (77131). Before starting Longstone Inspection Services in 2016, he worked in various roles in the construction and development industry. His prior experience includes the hands-on building of commercial and residential projects, site supervision of all building trades, and estimating and managing multi-million dollar projects, over a 25-year career. He has an excellent understanding of building systems and has been responsible for many hundreds of punch lists. Lee currently lives in Morrisville with his wife Jennifer and their dogs (Basenjis), where he serves on the Planning and Zoning Board

Excellent report. Very thorough easy to review. Lee emailed the report the same day as I had a meeting with the builder the next day. I shared the report items with the builder during our pre-closing walk-through and also emailed the builder a copy of the PDF file so he could go through it with the different crafts to correct the issues. As a degree engineer (MSc) I was very impressed with the report thoroughness and structure (summary followed by details and pictures). Lee is great to work with. Since we currently reside over 500 miles away I could not be present during the inspection as Lee offered, but the extent of the report justified my decision to have Lee perform the inspection. Even the builder was impressed by the report. I would definitely recommend Lee to anyone needing a home inspection especially those building a new house.
